Why I Personally Love Mito Red Light
I’ve been using Mito Red Light devices for over a year now — and the results have been fantastic.
The MitoPRO X Red Light Therapy Panel helps boost cellular energy, muscle recovery, joint comfort, and overall vitality. I use it most mornings to feel energized and reduce stiffness.
Their MitoGLOW™ LED Red Light Therapy Face Mask has become one of my favorites — it’s comfortable, easy to use, and has noticeably improved my skin tone, texture, glow, and fine lines.
What I love most:
High build quality and performance
Multiple wavelengths for different goals
Simple, customizable sessions
Fits easily into my daily routine
They also offer a 60-day risk-free trial with a full refund if you’re not satisfied.

Red Light (visible, ~630–660 nm): Seen as a red glow. Absorbed by the skin’s surface layers. Boosts collagen, improves skin tone, texture, and helps with superficial issues like fine lines, acne, and inflammation.
Near Infrared (NIR) Light (invisible, ~800–850 nm): Cannot be seen by the eye. Penetrates deeper into tissues. Supports muscle recovery, joint comfort, circulation, reduced soreness, and cellular energy.
In short: Red light works on the surface for skin benefits, while NIR reaches deeper for muscle, joint, and recovery support. Both stimulate mitochondria the same way and are most effective when used together — which is why most Mito Red panels combine them.
Near infrared light may penetrate clothing to some degree, but red light is not able to effectively penetrate clothing. Therefore we generally recommend exposing clean bare skin to the light as the usage environment allows.
As there has been no clinical research with red light therapy treatments on pregnant or nursing subjects, do not use the device if pregnant or lactating before consulting with your healthcare provider.
Contraindications Red light therapy is generally safe, but consult a doctor before use if you have:
- Active cancer or suspicious lesions in the treatment area
- Pregnancy (especially over the abdomen)
- Photosensitive epilepsy or light-triggered seizures
- Recent burns or open wounds
- Active eye disease
- Photosensitizing medications or conditions like lupus
- Fever or acute infection
Always follow device guidelines and get medical clearance when in doubt.
Usage Guidelines (More is not always better)
Red light follows a biphasic dose response — too much can reduce benefits. Mito devices are highly efficient, so shorter sessions work best.
- Max 15 minutes per session for panels
- Max 20 minutes per session for flexible devices
- Wait at least 6 hours between treatments on the same area
- Use 4–10 times per week, with at least 1 full day off weekly
