About

Wellness Strategies is root-cause care with a clinician who has been the patient and understands the frustration with lack of improvement.

I look past “normal” labs, listen to your story, and build a plan around your life — not a template.

The Journey to Wellness Strategies

For much of my career, I was fully committed to providing the highest quality care to my patients and supporting my employers. But in 2016, everything changed when I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome—a sudden, paralyzing autoimmune condition. Multiple relapses followed, leading to a diagnosis of CIDP (chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, a chronic form of Guillain-Barré), repeated setbacks, monthly infusions that were hard to endure, and eventual reliance on a wheelchair.

Recovery felt out of reach until summer 2022, when a physician I connected with from across the country helped me look deeper. He identified key root causes that had been overlooked, and with targeted supplements and a focused approach, my body finally responded. By April 2023, I was walking independently—no more infusions, no more wheelchair or any assistive device. My quality of life transformed in ways I once thought impossible.

That personal experience changed me profoundly. Since 2023, I have shifted my professional focus to functional medicine, supported by advanced training in root-cause approaches. Having been on the patient side—feeling unheard and frustrated—I am deeply committed to truly listening, partnering with you as a team, and empowering you to reach your health goals. Wellness Strategies isn't just a name; it's our mantra—to strategize together and build a personalized plan tailored specifically to you.

Welcome!

This practice exists because I had to find a different way to get well — and I want that for you too.

Where I can see you

This is complementary care. I am not a replacement for your primary care or specialty physician.

Washington: telemedicine medical visits

Idaho: telemedicine medical visits

Everywhere else: health coaching and wellness strategy — education and guidance, not medical diagnosis or treatment
